Rob Weaver

Rob Weaver is president of WPGW, Inc.  Rob and his wife, Mindy, have owned a majority of our company since the mid 1980’s.  He has been the radio voice of Jay County Patriots football and basketball for more than 30 years.  Rob has also opened the day as host of our first morning news hour from 6-7 a.m. since 1978.  Prior to coming to WPGW, he also worked for radio stations WIUC in Winchester and WHON and WQLK in Richmond.  In 1993, Rob constructed radio station WZBD in Berne and has maintained majority ownership in that station ever since.  Rob also serves as Executive Director of the John Jay Center for Learning in downtown Portland.  He and his wife, Mindy, reside in Portland.  They are the parents of two grown children, Libby and Kyle.
